म हजुर आमाहरुकोमा बस्दा जहिले पनि एउटा बाहाना बनाएर मरो आमाले घरमा बोलाउनु हुथ्यो । बजारबाट केहि मिठा खाने कुराहरु ल्याएर दिनु हुथ्यो म प्रति आमाको यो माया देखेर म निकै दङ्ग थिए । हामी कान्छी बहिनिसङ्ग आफ्ना घर आयौं सबै जना खुशी थियौ । तर म घर आएपछि मेरो पढाईमा केहि असर पुग्न थाल्यो । यो भन्दा पहिले कुनै दिन मेरो क्लास छुटेको थिएन तर म घर आएपछि प्रत्येक शुक्रबार अनि रोपाइँ हुदा वा आमा बुवा कहिँ कतै जानु भएको बेला मेरो स्कूल छुट्थ्यो । जसले गर्दा मेरो पढाईमा ठुलो असर पर्न जान्थ्यो । कहिले काही त बुवा र म मधेसतिर भारि बोक्न पनि जानु पर्थ्यो भारी बोकेर घर खर्च मेरो पढाई खर्च धान्नु पर्थ्यो । साथीहरुको छेउमा भारी बोक्न पनि धेरै लाज लाग्थ्यो तर त्यो मेरो बाध्यता थियो।घरमा केहि आय श्रोत नभए पछि कत्ति लाचार हुनुपर्थ्यो । यो दुख सम्झेर आठ कक्षा सम्म मात्र पढ्न निर्णय गरेको थिएँ । किन भने मेरो घरको आर्थिक स्थिति निकै कम्जोर थियो ।फेरी S.L. C. दिनु पर्दा सदरमुकाम नै पुग्नु पर्थ्यो त्यो २ दिनसम्मको हिडाई, त्याहाको महँगी यो सम्झेर मैले आट हारी सकेकोथिएँ । अरु गाउँका विद्यार्थीहरुको भन्दा मेरो पढाई निकै राम्रो थियो। त्यो कुरा गाउँका एक जना मेरो ठुलो बुवा पर्नेले थाहा पाउनु भएछ र मेरो घरमा आउनु भो र मलाई र मेरा बुवा आमालाई सम्झाउनु भयो । पढाई खर्च नभएरै पढ्न छोड्ने हो भने चिन्ता नगर मैले सुनेको तिम्रो पढाई धेरै राम्रो छ अरे पढ S. L. C. दिने बेला म तिमीलाई खर्चको लागि ऋण दिउला भन्नु भयो ।उहाको यो भनाइलाई सहर्स स्वीकार्दै म S. L. C. सम्म पढे ।देशमा सङ्कट काल लागेको थियो । माओबादि र नेपाल सेना को लडाई भैरहेको थियो ।२०६० सालको चैत्रमा S. L. C. हुने भयो । सङ्कट कालको समय थियो एक रात सदरमुकामको एक चौकी माओबादि पक्षले आक्रम गर्दा त्यो रात भरि फ़ाइरिङ्ग भै रह्यो । डरले थरथरी काम्न थालियो हाम्रो रूम त्यहि ब्यारेक नजिकै एक अण्डर ग्राउण्डमा भएको ले धन्न बाचियो । त्यो त्रास पुर्णको बसाईले गर्दा होला S. L. C . पास गर्न भने सकिन |

Sometimes my father and I had to go to Madhes to carry heavy loads. I had to bear the burden of education and household expenses. I was too shy to carry heavy things around my friends. But that was my obligation .
How helpless I must have been after having no source of income in my home. Remembering this pain, I decided to study only up to class eight. Because the financial position of my house was very weak. Again S.L. C. Had to reach the headquarters itself. I could not bear thinking about that 2-day walk, its cost. My studies were much better than other village students. One of the villagers, who is my elder father, came to know about that and came to my house and reminded me and my parents. Don't worry if you drop out because you don't have any education expenses. I heard that your studies are very good. Read till the time of giving S. L. C., he said that I will give you a loan for expenses. Accepting his statement willingly, I read till S. L. C. There was a time of crisis in the country. Maoists and Nepal Army werSe fighting. In the month of Chaitra of the year 2060, S. L. C. took place. It was a time of crisis. One night, when the Maoists attacked a checkpoint in the headquarters, firing continued throughout the night. We started shaking with fear. Our room was in an underground area near the barracks, so we survived. That fear may be due to the stay of S.L.C. I could not pass.
I wanted to give the exam again in the second year i.e. 2061. Then I filled the form again and went to the headquarters to take the exam. But again I could not pass due to illness. With that anger, I went to Kathmandu to work. My very friendly uncle from the village gave me a job in a railing factory in Balaju Banasthali. And I was working there for a few years. My elder sister's wedding is going to take place there. So I was not saving money in a finas to get a passport to go abroad. In the month of Baisakh of the year 2065, my elder sister's marriage has been finalized. She did all the work at home. After that, there was a lack of people working at home. All the other sisters went to school. Every Saturday there was a market 2 hours away from our village. One day when I was returning home from the market with my mother, I was told about my marriage. I also decided to get married as soon as possible. After that, on the 28th of the month of Mangsir in the year 2065, my wife got married. After marriage, I stayed at home. Taking that opportunity, I again filled the form for S. L. C. and took the exam. Fortunately, I was very happy that I passed S.C.L.
